Paula Martin - Founder & President
In March of 2006, Paula Martin set out to establish the Rosalind Martin-Handsome Lung Cancer Foundation in loving memory of her sister, Rosalind, a 2005 victim of lung cancer.
Paula's primary goals in establishing the foundation are to raise awareness and funding for lung cancer research. She hopes to spread the word across the country that lung cancer is not just a smoker’s disease.
Paula currently works as an Assistant to the Director at one of Wall Street Journal's 2005 Top Ranked Universities. She also has sixteen years experience in Event Planning and Coordination with extensive Public Relations Skills.
Paula is a people person who enjoys meeting people and establishing new relationships on a daily basis.
If asked what drives her in establishing this foundation and wanting to make it a success, Paula would say that it is the love she has for her late sister, Rosalind and a determination to ensure that Rosalind's life and death we’re not in vain!
The Rosalind Martin-Handsome Lung Cancer Foundation is about people – people who are committed to making a difference today and to putting an end to lung cancer tomorrow.
Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, RMH, a 501 (c) (3) foundation, is fortunate to have many volunteers who offer their time and talents to help with this cause. Funds raised through this program support the unmet lung cancer and lung health needs. Together, we are making our goal a reality!
